What is a 4×4,5×5,13×4 & 13×6

Most wigs come with lace on them so here is how to know the size you need when purchasing your wig.

4x4 Wig

A 4×4 means 4 inches across and 4 inches up and down,The first number represents across(left to right) while the second number represents from forehead and back.

This allows you to part 4 inches across and 4 inches back and forth.This is a beginner’s wig unit and it is recommended for women who love to take their wig  off and put it back on,

Also,you do not have to sleep in it.

5x5 Wig

This is also a beginners wig unit.A beginner’s wig unit is simply a wig you can take off and on .

It is 5 inches across and 5 inches from your forehead on back so that is where you can part this unit.Furthermore,this unit can be centred on your head and it will allow you to part down from the middle,on the left or right side without having to shift your unit,Also,you do not need glues to keep on your 4×4’s and 5×5’s because the lace is so small on them.They Stay on easily.

Again,no Glue is required for a 4×4 or a 5×5.

 

13x4 Wig

What is a 4x4,5x5,13x4 & 13x6 1

Again,the first number represents from left to right.So 13 means that the lace is 13 inches long from left to right(ear to ear).Also,it is 4 inches long from your forehead back.So this is considered a lace frontal unit.

Hence,a lace frontal unit is a unit where the lace is in front.It allows you to part anywhere within those 13 inches across and 4 inches back.A unit like this would require an adhesive(glue or any adhesive to hold it down your skin)and allow a flawless natural look.

13x6 Wig

The last but not least is the 13×6. Again,the 13 inches across ear to ear and 6 inches from your forehead back.This is also a lace frontal unit,a unit where the lace is in the entire front. 

This one as well as the 13×4 requires some type of adhesive(glue) to make it look flawless and lay flat up against your skin.
